Hello! I'm Lauren Barlow, a passionate mental health advocate, with a background in forensic psychology. Specializing in vulnerable populations and adolescents my passion is to help others in improving their mental health struggles and to help transform lives.
Driven by my love for humanistic psychology and a person-centered approach, My academic experience includes; a Master`s of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology. Currently, I am a Licensed Social Worker with the State of Utah and have experience working in various state-level agencies. Additional past career experiences include; working for a non-profit and with Adult Protective Services.
I believe in the power of thoughts and shifting consciousness to make a positive difference within the individual. That mental health doesn't have to define an individual and that happiness, joy and health can be achieved through inner work.
Outside of work, I love to go outside and garden, self-tattoo and sing karaoke , which keeps me inspired and motivated. I'm eager to utilize my experience and education in helping others and cant wait to work with you!
